Step Into the Magic of the Arkansas Renaissance Festival
Arkansas' largest and only permanent Renaissance Festival, the Arkansas Renaissance Festival immerses guests in the joy, whimsy, and magic of a 16th-century village and so much more right here in Mount Vernon, Arkansas. Running every Saturday and Sunday from August 29th through October 4th, the festival brings Dragonstone Springs to life with unforgettable adventures for all ages. From the excitement of a live joust or sword fight and the wonder of enchanting stage performances to talented artisan vendors and delectable food, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Our festival is a celebration of history, fantasy, and, most of all, community. Join in the fun with our lively street cast, test your aim in the Royal Archery Tournament, dance around the Maypole, or simply grab a legendary turkey leg and enjoy a day filled with laughter, entertainment, and family-friendly fun.

August 29–30
Our High Fantasy weekend invites guests into a magical realm where medieval life blends with mythical creatures and enchanted quests. Explore a village ruled by a noble queen, witness epic battles, and encounter faeries, trolls, and legendary beings—all while enjoying magical feasts and immersive entertainment.
Pirate Weekend:
September 5–7
Ahoy, Mateys! The high seas are filled with adventure here at Arkansas Renaissance Festival’s Pirate Weekend. Our Scurvy Crew of the Rusala promises swashbuckling action, games of cunning, and sea shanties galore. Weigh anchor and set sail for magic!
A Dragon's Masquerade:
September 12–13
Step into the world of mystery and elegance at our Venetian Masquerade, where masked revelers dance, the masters of the arts come alive again. Cloaked in mystery and lace, the air is thick with enchantment; will you uncover the identity of a masked stranger, or be swept away in the allure of the masquerade’s spell?
Celtic Highlands Weekend:
September 19–20
The rugged charm of the British Isles comes alive with Celtic weekend, where visitors can embrace the spirit of Celtic warriors and ancient clans. The air is filled with the sound of bagpipes as noble Scots and fierce Highlanders showcase their skills in sword fighting, archery, and traditional dances. Amidst the stunning greenery and rugged landscapes, guests are transported to a time of myth, battle, and unbreakable pride in the heart of the British Isles.
Viking Weekend:
September 26–27
The hoard returns to Arkansas Renaissance Festival for Viking Weekend! Compete in feats of strength and skill, trade stories around the fire, and represent your Clan from Arkansas Viking Thing as we once again don our fur and sound the horns! SKÅL!
Dusk of Dreams:
October 3–4
Enter a realm where All Hallow’s Eve meets high fantasy during our final weekend. Magic, mystery, and the supernatural fill the air as fairies, wizards, and eerie creatures lead guests through haunting adventures and enchanted encounters.
